Extremely motivated, organized and talented Screenprint Society regular Allan Akman has finished his print, No Parking. The print started with a photograph taken in his wife's hometown in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania. The image was deconstructed in Photoshop into over 50 colors, but then he cut back to just 41. Allan has perfected his registration technique by always pulling from the same spot on the print and overcame many technical obstacles along the way. Allan insists his next print will be simpler: "just 3 or 4 colors". But we will believe it when we see it. Congratulations, Allan!

He meticulously tests all his colors on swatch strips.
One cool job! It captures the feel of a small American town with big-town rules. Nice work, Allan
